Research & Development Coordinator for Habilitation and Health Habilitation and Health has approximately 700 engaged and qualified employees. We work to provide advice, support, and treatment to individuals with various disabilities, as well as their family members. We also provide information, guidance, and fitting of assistive devices for people with disabilities. Habilitation and Health facilitates daily functioning and active participation for individuals with disabilities. Job Responsibilities: Habilitation and Health's Research & Development unit coordinates research, operational development, evaluation/follow-up, and staff training. Operationally integrated research & development work addresses several important strategic issues for Habilitation & Health. The Research & Development Coordinator's responsibilities include: Research & Development coordination including participation in the Center for Psychiatry Research network for Research & Development coordinators, and coordination of Habilitation & Health's network for doctoral candidates and doctorate holders, coordinating requests for collaborative research and dissertations within Habilitation & Health, initating, leading, and personally participating in research and development projects, compiling and presenting data of various types for data-driven operational development, coordinating academic development within Habilitation & Health and Operationally Integrated Learning (VIL), including supervision of health professionals' student coordinators/adjunct clinical adjuncts. As a Research & Development Coordinator, you report directly to the Research & Development Manager. Employment Type: Permanent position, full-time with possibility of research leave on a part-time basis. Qualifications: We are seeking someone with basic education in a field related to habilitation activities (such as physical therapist, occupational therapist, social worker, speech-language pathologist, psychologist, special education teacher) followed by a doctoral degree. You should have documented experience in independently planning, initiating, driving, and financing research projects. Furthermore, you should have documented experience communicating through scientific and popular scientific publications and presentations. Clinic-adjacent projects (such as clinical characterization or intervention studies) in collaboration with a healthcare organization are particularly meriting, as are completed or ongoing post-doctoral placements. Work as a Research & Development Coordinator requires a broad perspective on habilitation research, and experience in the habilitation/disability field is meriting. You have a broad network of researchers within various disciplines and have an affiliation with a university or college.
