Instruction will take place in grades 7-9, and in your daily work you plan instruction, prepare lessons, and document student development. You actively work to encourage all students to develop their knowledge and have the ability to adapt instruction to promote learning and good academic results. You are part of a work team where you have the opportunity daily to exchange experiences, thoughts, and ideas that can improve your instruction and contribute to school development. The role includes being a mentor for a class. Qualifications We're looking for someone with appropriate teacher education and certification to teach mathematics in primary and lower secondary education. You have current experience teaching in primary school. We believe that you as a teacher, based on research and proven experience, have demonstrated a particularly strong ability to develop your subject with a focus on didactic questions and have demonstrated a particularly strong ability to contribute to school development and actively worked to promote collegial learning. We're looking for someone with strong leadership skills, who can work independently and in a structured manner, and has good collaboration skills. In this recruitment, particular emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Experience in conducting development work and leading collegial learning is a merit. Additionally, the following requirements from the National School Board must be met to qualify for employment as a lead teacher: Teacher certification (Legal requirement from 2014). At least four years of well-documented work with instruction within the school system. Has demonstrated a particularly strong ability to improve student academic results and a strong interest in developing instruction. Otherwise considered particularly qualified for instruction and tasks related to instruction. Has demonstrated a particularly strong ability to contribute to school development.
