The school is modern and consists of different buildings. The main building is beautiful and in an old-fashioned grand style, and approximately 400 students attend the school. Job responsibilities The main part of the lead teacher assignment involves teaching in one or more subjects. As a lead teacher, you shall work together with school management to analyze the school's results and drive systematic quality improvement forward. You should be a good role model, have the ability to share your knowledge and professional skills with colleagues. In addition to teaching and other customary teacher duties, lead teachers participate in the school's development group. Development work is identified in our systematic quality improvement and aims to increase goal fulfillment. The following examples should be seen as guidance for the assignment. Your position may include: together with school management, participate in analyzing, leading, implementing, and following up quality development related to teaching. develop instruction at your own school. lead, coordinate, and take responsibility for school-wide development processes. stay current with research and initiate pedagogical discussions. coordinate and serve as facilitator and mentor in professional collaborative learning. observe and mentor in teaching situations. guide other teachers in general didactic matters or questions linked to specific subjects. lead teachers may also have a special assignment in the introduction of newly hired teachers. As a lead teacher at Daltorpskolan, you will focus on analysis and systematic quality improvement. You will also, together with other lead teachers at the school, plan and lead colleagues in our development areas. Qualifications We are looking for someone who wants to become a lead teacher and who has teaching credentials with the authority to teach grades 7-9. You are a naturally positive leader with the ability to bring others along while taking time to support others in their development. You are skilled at creating good relationships with guardians. You are adept at analyzing and presenting statistics, act long-term and from a holistic perspective, and come up with constructive ideas and suggestions aimed at developing and improving. You have experience with systematic quality improvement. Furthermore, you are flexible in your approach and can juggle many tasks at once. National requirement profile: Licensed teacher Through documentation, demonstrate at least four years of well-documented work with teaching within one or more positions in the school system.
