For more information about the municipality, visit www.dalsed.se Dals-Eds kommun is now seeking a Senior Social Worker in Adult Services and Economic Assistance, as our current senior social worker has moved to another role within the organization. We are looking for you—a skilled coaching investigator and work leader who never loses focus on the individual's best interests. You are driven to develop working methods and advance operations. WORK TASKS: As senior social worker, you will work together with the unit manager to lead and distribute daily work and provide support and guidance both individually and in groups. Your duties include ensuring that work complies with applicable legislation and is conducted based on current knowledge, proven experience, and high quality. You are also responsible for methodological supervision and method development within the service area. You will introduce new employees to practical work. You will stay updated on legislation and implement changes and new working methods. Personal involvement and case handling in client work will partially be part of your assignment. Your duties also include preparing matters for and presenting cases to the board and in court. The unit is in a development phase where we will implement new working methods and areas such as Budget and Debt, as well as estate administration. You will be the one driving this implementation in collaboration with the unit manager and employees. QUALIFICATIONS: The position requires that you are a social worker or have education that the employer considers equivalent, with several years of experience in government administration. You have extensive knowledge of applicable legislation. You communicate clearly and have the ability to assess which tasks should be prioritized. This requires strong ability to structure and organize your own and others' work. You use time efficiently and work systematically. As the work involves substantial documentation, it is a requirement that you express yourself well in speech and writing and have strong ability to document and write various forms of materials. You have very good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new operational systems. You have the ability to drive processes forward and employ a coaching approach. You can collaborate and build good relationships. You also have the skill to make well-founded decisions and possess economic awareness. Previous experience in a management role is a merit. It is also a merit if you have worked in Lifecare and if you have knowledge of various aspects of Individual and Family Care such as adult services, assistance, and child and youth services. In the overall assessment, considerable weight will be given to personal qualities and suitability. A class B driver's license is required.
