In Vingåkers kommun there are seven preschools, three of which are located in the town center and four in the outlying areas of the municipality. Our preschools vary in size from one to six departments, which creates different conditions but a shared ambition: to offer every child a safe, educational, and stimulating education.

JOB DUTIES
As a preschool teacher with us, you have an important role in planning, implementing, following up, and developing teaching based on the preschool curriculum and children's needs, interests, and conditions. You actively work to create safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments where children's curiosity and desire to learn have room to flourish.
In our preschools we work purposefully with, among other things:
• The educator's professional role and pedagogical leadership
• Children's language development and communication
• Mathematics in preschool
• Adaptations and support in teaching
• Sustainable development
• Children's participation, empathy, and social development
• Language-developing work methods are an important part of our teaching. We use, among other things, language-stimulating methods and sign support to give all children good opportunities to develop their language and communication
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for candidates who have a preschool teacher degree or teacher degree for younger ages.
You are well versed in the preschool's mission and have great commitment to children's learning and development. You are professional, reflective, and development-oriented and want to be part of driving the preschool's pedagogical development forward.
You are confident in your professional role and take responsibility for your pedagogical leadership. You have the ability to see the opportunities in teaching, adapt it to children's different needs and conditions, and create learning environments that awaken curiosity, participation, and the desire to learn.
You have the ability to, together with your team, create a safe and stimulating education where care, teaching, and learning form a whole.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-10-01, end date: 2027-06-30.
Work time: Scheduled.
