Hedesunda preschool is divided into two units, Nya Lurbergsgården (three departments) and Hedesunda preschool in the school (two departments). The children's time at Hedesunda preschool should be safe, joyful, empathetic, and filled with joyful learning. In our teaching, we use a theme-based approach that creates work joy, community, and belonging among both educators and children. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Together with your colleagues in the work team, you as a preschool teacher have primary responsibility for education at the preschool. The work includes planning, implementation, documentation, and monitoring as well as evaluation of the activities according to decided goals and guidelines. Your work is characterized by holistic thinking where every child is given the opportunity to succeed in their learning and personal development. You help create a safe and inspiring learning environment where children feel seen, safe, and affirmed. The role includes: - Plan and carry out teaching based on the curriculum's objectives - Document children's development and learning - Continuously monitor and evaluate the activities - Collaborate with colleagues in the work team to create unified and quality education - Contribute to a shared commitment where sustainable development is a natural part of daily life at all our preschools, which are certified according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's "School for Sustainable Development" We are looking for someone who is positive, engaged, and driven and who, together with us, wants to continue developing Hedesunda preschool. For this position, a valid extract from the criminal record register for work in the school system is required. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: A degree from the preschool teacher program and a preschool teacher certification with authorization to teach in preschool and preschool class. Or ongoing studies in the preschool teacher program, with graduation in January 2027. Is familiar with and has knowledge of the preschool curriculum. Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. Meritorious if you have: Experience with AAC and/or TAKK. Experience with children in need of special support. To succeed in the role of preschool teacher, you have: The ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to best achieve results. A humble approach in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians. The ability to lead and motivate children and help them thrive and feel good. You are structured and plan your work well. You are also good at creating open dialogue and adapt your language based on the current situation. Furthermore, you have a good ability to make children feel belonging and to be included at the preschool. You are communicative and engaged and have the ability to create good, trusting relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you present an extract from the criminal record register for work in the school system.
