As a prioritized area, we focus on literacy. Gullhedens Preschool is located in Järbo, approximately 15 minutes' drive from central Sandviken. The preschool is immediately adjacent to forest, a library, and sports facilities where teaching also takes place. We are now seeking two preschool teachers for employment in autumn 2026 with possible opportunity for extension. JOB DUTIES The role of preschool teacher involves leading instruction and pedagogical work based on the curriculum. The work is based on children's interests and curiosity and converts them into goal-oriented processes where learning is in focus. Pedagogical documentation and reflection are a natural part of daily work to ensure quality in operations. To create good conditions for your work, we offer free pedagogical meals, free work clothes for outdoor use, and your own work computer, which allows you to focus fully on the pedagogical mission. We actively work with language development and the Før Bornholm model. You contribute by: • Planning, implementing, and following up instruction based on the curriculum • Developing learning environments that inspire and challenge children's curiosity • Documenting and analyzing each child's development as part of quality work • Integrating daily activities and spontaneous events into instruction • Creating good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues We make each other better by: • Developing instruction with scientific foundation and proven experience • Being present and engaged in children's daily lives • Continuously developing our approach and trying new methods • Maintaining a good work climate and respectful treatment QUALIFICATIONS As a preschool teacher, you create safe and inspiring environments where children can explore and develop. You adapt activities to their different needs and build close relationships with both children and guardians. We value your flexibility and your ability to stay calm even when the pace is high; together we create a safe and educational daily routine for the children. The role requires: • Preschool teacher certification • Good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents • Good command of Swedish language, both verbal and written We would like to see that you have experience working with language and mathematics in preschool. It is meriting if you have knowledge of pedagogical documentation and digital tools. Experience working with children in need of special support is also positive.
