Östers Preschool is centrally located with both bus and train connections, providing good transportation options to and from work. The preschool consists of 4 departments: Ängen, Blomman, Trädet, and Fågeln. Blomman and Ängen serve our youngest children ages 1-3, while Trädet and Fågeln serve children ages 3-5. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Are you a pedagogical preschool teacher who wants to contribute to children's learning and development? We are looking for an engaged, positive, and driven preschool teacher who is passionate about your mission and pedagogical development work. Your responsibilities include: • Sharing main responsibility with colleagues in your work team for education at the preschool. • Planning and leading instruction both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. • Documenting and evaluating instruction. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A diploma from a preschool teacher program and preschool teacher certification with authorization to teach in preschool and preschool class. Or ongoing studies in the preschool teacher program, with graduation in January 2027. • Familiarity with and knowledge of the preschool curriculum. • Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Meritorious if you have: • Experience with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and/or TAKK. • Experience with children with special needs. To succeed in the role of preschool teacher, you have: • The ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to best achieve results. • An unpretentious approach in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians. • The ability to lead and motivate children and help them thrive and feel good. • You are organized and plan your work well. You are also good at creating open dialogue and adapting your language according to the current situation. Furthermore, you have a strong ability to help children feel belonging and be included at the preschool. • You are communicative and engaged and have the ability to create good, secure relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you provide an extract from the criminal record register for work in the school system. You can order the criminal record register on the Police website. Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-11-30 or by agreement. Work hours: Daytime.
