About the position The position is divided where you are employed within Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care (PMI) and organizationally belong to the Clinical Research Unit Solna (KFE-S). Working hours are distributed on average over the year as follows: - 50 percent assignment as research nurse at KFE-S - 50 percent clinical work as anesthesia nurse within PMI. As a research nurse you work to coordinate, plan and implement research projects led by researchers within PMI. The role does not involve primary responsibility for research projects but close collaboration with research groups where you are an important enabler for studies to be conducted according to plan. You have your main placement within PMI but can also participate in projects in collaboration with other departments. Your work tasks include, among other things: - coordinating and implementing studies according to study protocols in collaboration with responsible researchers - following guidelines for research nurses at KFE - ensuring that research work is conducted according to current ethical requirements - ensuring correct documentation - performing practical tasks such as sample handling, centrifugation and freezing procedures - applying and working according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) - contributing to informing about and disseminating knowledge about ongoing research projects. As an anesthesia nurse with us you work in a team-based and flow-oriented approach, where collaboration, structure and clear goals are central. The work is varied in pace with a focus on flows, high patient safety, efficiency and a good work environment. Perioperative Medicine Huddinge includes, among other things, acute surgery, orthopedics, transplantation, obstetrics, gynecology, urology, otolaryngology and upper abdominal surgery. Transplantation and upper abdominal surgery are two of the hospital's profile areas with national responsibility. Parts of the surgical operations are conducted as outpatient surgery. We are looking for you who - work independently, take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward - adapt easily to changed conditions and can handle varying work tasks - are confident and stable in your professional role and maintain a professional approach even in complex situations - collaborate well with others and contribute to good relationships within research and care teams - make well-founded assessments and weigh relevant information together in your work - plan, organize and prioritize your work efficiently. Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed nurse with specialist education in anesthesia - Several years of experience working as a specialist nurse Meritorious: - Academic credentials: master's degree, licentiate or doctoral degree - Previous experience in clinical research work or study coordination About the recruitment process Selection and interviews may take place on an ongoing basis during the application period.
