We are seeking a research nurse who wants to contribute to strengthening research within Close Care and Health in Region Uppsala. As a research nurse at the Academic Primary Care Center (APC) Research and Research Disability, you will become part of a skilled team where you help create favorable conditions for practice-based research and support researchers in conducting studies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building a strong research environment within Close Care and Health. Your Assignment As a research nurse, you participate in planning, initiation, implementation and completion of company-initiated clinical trials and academic studies. You work with both clinical and administrative aspects of studies, for example patient visits, specimen collection and handling, data collection, data registration and study documentation. This also includes maintaining ongoing contact with, among others, sponsors, CRA/monitors, researchers and affected care activities. You may also work with other research-supporting tasks, such as initiating and coordinating research-promoting activities such as seminars and networking meetings, as well as handling study registrations and research data extractions. The work places high demands on quality, structure and accuracy. You work both independently and together with other team members in the research team and are expected, after introduction, to be able to independently plan and carry out the work tasks you are responsible for within a clinical study. Introduction and supervision are tailored based on your previous experience. Your Qualifications For this position, you need to be a registered nurse, with or without specialist education, and have experience with clinical studies or other clinical research according to GCP. You have good computer skills and can communicate well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You need to be organized and thorough, have a good ability to take responsibility for your work tasks and be able to plan and prioritize your work. The role involves many contact points and we are therefore looking for someone who has good collaboration skills and enjoys combining patient-centered work with administrative and coordinating tasks. Our Operations The position is placed at APC Research and Research Disability, which is part of the Close Care and Health administration. Our mission is to conduct and promote research and contribute to ensuring that research-based knowledge is applied in healthcare. Close Care and Health is a university healthcare unit according to the national and local ALF agreement, which means that clinical research, education, knowledge application and knowledge dissemination are an integrated part of the administration's assignment. Within APC Research and Research Disability, R&D coordinators, research nurses and university lecturers with combined positions work. Here there is a research office and a research reception that work closely together to support and conduct research within Close Care and Health. As part of Close Care and Health, we collaborate closely with the administration's other operations. Depending on the operational needs and your competence, parts of the position may therefore also include clinical work within one of these operations.
