About the Department The Research Support Department provides strategic and operational support within external research financing, strategic initiatives, collaboration, business law, and fundraising. You will join a department characterized by great commitment and accountability. Our goal is to deliver good support to the organization and contribute to KTH's researchers being successful in external research financing. As an employee, you have significant responsibility for your work tasks while also collaborating in both smaller teams and broadly with other roles within business support and KTH's researchers. The position is primarily located on campus Valhallavägen. Duties You will be responsible for handling cases related to applications and contracting of research projects. Examples include collaboration projects within Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, projects from Vinnova and Energimyndigheten. In addition to handling research projects, your assignment will be to coordinate other research handlers, distribute cases, and together with other handlers work to develop and improve routines and processes. Part of the position may also include other tasks within RSO's area of activity. We offer varying, challenging, and enjoyable work tasks in an engaging environment with competent colleagues. You will work independently under your own responsibility as well as as part of a team, often with tight deadlines. Qualifications Requirements University or college degree that the employer deems relevant Current and relevant knowledge and experience of research financing, its systems, rules, and financing conditions, within EU, nationally, or internationally Interest in research and research issues Good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel, Teams). Current and relevant experience from universities and colleges or other Swedish government agencies. Documented experience in case handling at a Swedish government agency Very good Swedish and English in speech and writing as it is used in daily work.
