The Department of Odontology is part of the Sahlgrenska Academy faculty and conducts education and research in the field of odontology. Each year, 93 dentists, 32 dental hygienists, 20 dental technicians, 20 specialist dentists, and a number of doctoral students graduate. Operations are conducted at 13 divisions in close collaboration with other departments at Sahlgrenska Academy and Folktandvården Västra Götaland. In total, approximately 110 employees work at the department. Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will conduct research and supervise doctoral students in endodontics. Qualifications A doctoral degree in dental science and documented research experience in endodontics are required. Clinical experience as an endodontics specialist and experience in doctoral student supervision are merits. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities. Employment The position is a fixed-term employment, 2027-02-01 through 2027-12-31, 10%, at the Division of Endodontics, Department of Odontology at Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg.
