Your Role as a Warehouse Technician
As a warehouse technician with us, you'll have a broad and varied role that combines practical warehouse work with administrative tasks, purchasing, and internal service. Your work will ensure a well-functioning warehouse where the entire chain works smoothly—from ordering and inventory management to distribution and service for our internal customers. You'll work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues in the warehouse, workshop, carpentry, and administration. In this role, you'll become an important point of contact for our internal customers and a key part of creating an operation characterized by quality, service, and efficiency. You'll use digital tools as a natural support in your work and contribute to developing our routines, working methods, and processes for the future.
Your main responsibilities:
Procurement: You're responsible for purchasing and managing various types of items needed in the warehouse and helping colleagues on-site make sustainable purchases. You may also participate in procurement processes.
Supplier Contact: You maintain regular contact with suppliers and monitor that deliveries occur on time and according to agreement.
Goods Receipt: You receive goods arriving at the warehouse and transport materials using a forklift.
Registration and Distribution: You handle registration of incoming and outgoing materials, ensure materials are distributed correctly, and that they're registered properly in the warehouse system.
Inventory and Optimization: You're responsible for regular inventories and actively work to develop and optimize inventory management to ensure good availability, organization, and efficiency.
Internal Customer Contact: You manage internal rental of small machines and sales of items and equipment to other units via internal web shop.
Your Profile
As a person, you're proactive, service-oriented, collaborative, responsible, and thorough. You're good at creating structure, appreciate order and organization, and work systematically to ensure quality in your work. You have the ability to prioritize your tasks, take personal responsibility, and work independently while being a team player who contributes to the group's shared results. For us, it's self-evident that you're positive about using and developing digital working methods, as you'll work in several different operational systems. You express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing, as this is required in daily work. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
We're looking for someone who has:
completed upper secondary education
relevant work experience from warehouse operations
good digital working skills
B driver's license
Forklift certification A and B
It's an asset if you have:
Forklift certification B6
