This is an open posting for upcoming consultancy opportunities, with typical assignments lasting between 6 months and a year. In this role, you will play a key part in developing novel formulations and innovative delivery systems. Specific responsibilities and tasks will vary depending on the assignment, but will involve hands-on laboratory work as well as safety and compliance work. You bring a fundamental understanding of formulation science and the ability to work independently as well as contribute your expertise in cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Plan, set up, and run laboratory experiments, including performing equipment maintenance Follow all safety guidelines and SOPs strictly, using protective gear and maintaining thorough, accurate documentation of your work Collect experimental data, perform basic analysis to identify trends or variability, and maintain clear records using digital tools (like ELN/Excel) Work effectively within a team, communicating clearly and managing your time well across multiple experiments Qualifications Essential for the role: A BSc or MSc in chemical, mechanical, pharmaceutical, or materials engineering/science, or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience Ability to plan, set up and run experiments Practical experience working in a laboratory setting, including routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting Safe handling of chemicals, risk assessments, PPE, adherence to SOPs and good documentation practices Familiarity with HPLC/UHPLC methodology and experience working in a GMP/GLP environment Proficiency in English and Swedish (written and verbal) Desirable for the role: Experience in pharmaceutical development or manufacturing Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization About the company Randstad At Randstad, we know that everyone has a place in the job market.
