As Negotiations Manager for Kristianstad Municipality, you will have a central and strategic role with responsibility for labor law matters, negotiations, and wage formation. About the Role As Negotiations Manager, you will be part of the municipal management office's HR department and together with the HR strategist form the municipality's labor law specialist function. The role is of central importance in ensuring a unified and legally sound employer approach throughout the organization. Kristianstad Municipality is in a development phase and you will have the opportunity to shape processes and working methods within the labor law field. Your main duties will include the following: Responsibility for the municipality's negotiations, labor law, and wage formation matters, and lead and monitor the municipality-wide work in this area. Represent the municipality in labor law disputes and collective agreement negotiations. Responsibility for the municipality's wage formation process. Interpret and apply laws, collective agreements, and central agreements and ensure consistent application throughout the organization. Develop and manage labor law processes, guidelines, and governing documents. Represent the municipality and develop relationships with both SKR and union organizations in matters relating to labor law, agreements, and cooperation. Provide qualified support to HR, managers, and municipal leadership in labor law matters. Monitor and communicate changes in labor law and agreement areas. Plan and conduct training initiatives in labor law, negotiations, and cooperation. The role does not involve personnel or budget responsibility but carries great responsibility for the subject matters and a central position in the municipality's work with labor law, wage formation, and negotiations. Who Are You? We are looking for a senior specialist with the ability to combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic and operationally focused approach. To succeed in the role, we hope you have: Academic education of at least 120 credits/180 hours from a personnel and working life program or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent. Several years of experience in qualified work with wage formation and labor law matters and negotiations, preferably within the public sector. Very strong knowledge of labor law legislation and collective agreements. Experience handling complex HR matters and labor law processes. Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing. It is meriting if you have experience with: coordinating specialist functions or leading through influence. planning and conducting training initiatives. As a person, you are confident, attentive, and structured with high integrity. You have a strategic approach and a holistic perspective while being action-oriented and enjoying driving matters forward together with others. You build trusting relationships, work analytically, and navigate confidently in complex contexts where different perspectives need to be weighed.
