The operation is based in Karlskrona and Karlshamn but supports managers and employees throughout the county. About the Job As an occupational physician with us, you will play a central role in promoting health and work capacity among Region Blekinge's employees. You work closely with occupational health nurses, physiotherapists, occupational health engineers, organizational consultants, and other professionals. Together, you will provide qualified support to operations and contribute to a sustainable working life. You will work with, among other things: Occupational medical assessments, medical examinations in the workplace, rehabilitation, advice to managers and employees, work environment-related investigations, preventive and health-promoting measures, quality and development work, and the opportunity for medical management responsibility. About You We are looking for someone who is: A licensed physician with experience in occupational health services. It is a merit if you are a licensed specialist physician in occupational medicine or equivalent. You are confident in your profession and interested in work life's impact on health, accustomed to collaborating with different professional groups and stakeholders, clear and communicative in both speech and writing, comfortable with digital work tools and the Office suite, have a consultative approach and are skilled at creating trusting relationships, have high social competence and a good ability to meet people in different situations with attentiveness, respect, and professionalism, communicate clearly and pedagogically, and can adapt your message to the recipient and situation. Requirements: Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. B-class driver's license. As a person, you are initiative-taking, solution-oriented, and have the ability to work both independently and together with others. You are curious, want to continue developing in your professional role, and actively contribute to an open, learning, and trusting work climate. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
