Association Coordinator – Vivum, Cooperative Rental Housing for Seniors Part of Riksbyggen's work is developing housing for seniors in collaboration with municipalities and other organizations, so that older people have the opportunity for their own, dignified home. Riksbyggen develops and builds care and service housing such as special housing, LSS, and group homes, as well as safety housing. The concept is based on the cooperative rental housing model and is called Vivum at Riksbyggen. Today there are 35 cooperative rental housing associations throughout Sweden, and more are on the way. We are now seeking an association coordinator who will primarily work with Vivum, but who will also become part of our association team and contribute to the broader work with Riksbyggen's local and interest associations. The position is primarily based at one of our offices in Uddevalla or Gothenburg. Make a Difference With Us In this role, you will initially participate in various teams in meetings with municipalities that want to develop their elderly care services. Your main task is to administer and manage the distribution of meeting notices, write minutes, establish new associations, and manage changes in boards, as well as ensure that the right decisions are made at the right time. You will also provide advice on the board's working methods, function, and responsibilities. You are familiar with the association's agreements, documents, and member information and are responsible for the association's Mitt Riksbyggen portal and page on Riksbyggen's website. You may also serve as Riksbyggen's representative, as a board member or alternate, in the cooperative associations' boards. You collaborate with business developers for the Vivum concept, project managers, economists, property managers, and managers who drive and participate in developing new and existing Vivum associations nationally. A large part of these meetings take place remotely via Teams. At the same time, you become part of our team of association coordinators. Together with colleagues, you contribute to developing common working procedures and initiatives that provide member benefits to the associations and business value for Riksbyggen, and you build networks and contact points between association activities, Riksbyggen's business operations, and local decision-makers. As an association coordinator, you report to the Association Manager, who is based at the head office in Stockholm. You Contribute Your Expertise and Commitment You have a higher education relevant to the position, for example in social sciences, or have acquired equivalent competence in other ways. You have solid experience working in or with the association sector and have driven various forms of change work related to association activities and/or values-based business operations. You have a genuine interest in social and housing issues and good knowledge of how municipalities function democratically, politically, and economically. We are looking for someone who is or has been an executive secretary or held a similar role in a municipality, or in another way is accustomed to and has good knowledge and experience in administering board work. As a person, you like order and organization and are proactive in your approach. You also enjoy following up on decided matters to ensure things are or get done. You are enterprising, curious, and have an aptitude for seeing opportunities and solutions to problems. You have good computer skills and are experienced in working with digital tools.
