Our Prevention and Health Promotion Activities team consists of 7 employees with different areas of responsibility. We serve all people over 18 years old who experience loneliness and/or are at risk of becoming isolated and need to find safe social contexts. The Prevention and Health Promotion Activities currently has its main activities at Havsblick in Lomma and some activities in Bjärred. The service targets people living in ordinary housing – in their own homes – who have, among other things, a need to create new community connections. The aim is to reduce involuntary loneliness and isolation to counteract its negative consequences and raise awareness about health for all. The activities work and collaborate with various parts of civil society to enable residents to remain in their own homes and experience quality of life, independence, meaning, and health. We work from a physical, mental, social, and cultural perspective through our activities at Open Meeting Places, Meeting Points, family support, and more. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The announced coordinator position in Prevention and Health Promotion Activities involves actively working at an Open Meeting Place, leading activity groups for guests 18 years and older with varying functional limitations, and being part of family support for the target group. The job includes planning, collaborating, and cooperating with various actors both within and outside the municipality, together with other coordinators and partners. These actors can be associations, case managers, transport services, other departments, etc. The role may also include home visits or maintaining contact in other ways. The work involves motivating people to continue participating in activities at our open meeting places to counteract feelings of loneliness and isolation. The position also includes some administrative tasks. You will be part of the Department for Functional Support, the Authority Unit LSS, Fees and Prevention Activities, which consists of 1 Guide, 2 LSS case managers, and Prevention and Health Promotion Activities in Lomma Municipality. The unit is divided into two teams that work together wonderfully, and we actively care for each other's work environment. Working hours are mainly during daytime, but evening work may also occur. We apply flexible working hours. QUALIFICATIONS We are now looking for someone with relevant education for this role in prevention and health promotion activities. We are primarily seeking someone with education and experience in social psychiatry or equivalent. You have very good interpersonal skills with both colleagues, guests, and other actors. You need to be able to express yourself professionally both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to structure and prioritize in your work. Experience with similar assignments is meriting.
