About the Role
As a vehicle technician with us, you will work primarily with KIA vehicles. You will be an important part of our workshop's daily operations and will be responsible for everything from regular service and preventive maintenance to more advanced repairs and qualified troubleshooting. The work is always carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines, quality requirements, and with a strong focus on precision and high customer satisfaction. You are expected to contribute your technical expertise and professional experience in daily work and actively participate in the workshop's continued development.
With us, you will be part of a knowledgeable, engaged, and unpretentious team where collaboration is an integral part of everyday life. Decision-making processes are short, which gives you the opportunity to influence and take your own initiatives. Together, we build a strong and competent workshop where we share knowledge and support each other. This is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Working hours are Monday-Friday according to schedule, 40-hour work week.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone with a genuine interest in cars, technology, and problem-solving. You have a good ability to read, understand, and work from service manuals, technical documentation, and diagnostic systems. You are a person who thrives with responsibility and has the ability to work in a structured and independent manner. At the same time, you are a team player who values collaboration and contributes to a positive workplace. You are service-oriented, flexible, and have a solution-focused approach to work. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Basic Requirements
· Vehicle technical education or equivalent professional experience
· 6 years of professional experience as a technician/mechanic, of which 2 years as an expert
· High-voltage training
· Valid B-category driving license (manual transmission)
· System experience - previous work with Kobra (merit)
· Training in vehicle glass (merit)
· Certified AC technician (merit)
· Previous work with the KIA brand (merit)

Our facility in Albyberg opened in 2018. We are an authorized KIA dealer and service workshop. Together with two other KIA facilities, Torvalla Bil Stockholm is the largest KIA dealer.
