Job Duties
We are seeking a skilled and technically minded vehicle mechanic for a workshop in Gothenburg. This position is perfect for you if you enjoy hands-on work, like solving technical problems, and want a varied work day with diverse tasks.
You will work on completing and customizing transport vehicles by installing various types of equipment and interior components. Some work follows established instructions and solutions, while other tasks require you to find the best way to adapt the installation to the vehicle and the customer's needs.
Job duties may include:
- Installing interior components, accessories, and equipment in transport vehicles
- Installing and customizing various vehicle components
- Modifying and adjusting existing installations
- Performing quality checks on completed work
- Moving and driving vehicles within the workshop area
- Working with hand tools and standard workshop equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organized workplace and following safety procedures
- Collaborating with other mechanics to ensure smooth workflow
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented. You need to be able to work independently while also thriving in a team environment. Practical experience from vehicle, workshop, or assembly work is a plus, as is a general interest in technology.

As a person, you are responsible and organized. You plan your work in a structured manner and ensure tasks are completed with high quality. You work well with others, but have no problem taking initiative and moving your own tasks forward independently.
This position suits you if you want varied work and are interested in developing your skills in vehicle assembly, installation, and customization. Experience from similar work is a plus, but what matters most is that you are engaged, technically curious, and willing to develop.
Requirements:
- Class B driver's license and able to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good practical and technical understanding
- Ability to work meticulously and take responsibility for your tasks
- A solution-oriented and careful approach to work
Desirable:
- Vehicle electronics or electrical installations
- Vehicle modifications and custom adaptations
- Assembly or workshop experience
- Manufacturing in electrical fields or work with electric vehicles
- Hydraulics and various types of hydraulic systems
