We are now seeking a personal assistant for parental leave coverage at approximately 70% through January 2028 with the possibility of extension. The position is with one of our young people in Karlstad and involves day and evening shifts on both weekdays and weekends. Who am I: I am a happy and social 15-year-old boy living with my family and our dog in Karlstad. During school days, I attend school, and in my free time, I do various activities depending on how I'm feeling and what I'm interested in. Something I really enjoy is music and film, as well as when things happen in my surroundings. My functional variation means that I need constant supervision and support around the clock in different ways. Work tasks include, among others: Transfers Medication management Tube feeding Inhalations Training / stretching Standing support Orthoses / corset We are looking for someone who: Has experience with personal assistance or work in healthcare and care Is reliable, stable, and responsible Has good teamwork skills and enjoys working in a team Is attentive, flexible, and takes initiative Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Since the work involves close collaboration with colleagues, family, and healthcare personnel, it is important that you are communicative and can follow instructions both orally and in writing. We would appreciate it if you have some life experience and personal maturity that creates security and stability in the assignment. You also need to: Be smoke-free Not be allergic to dogs (there is a dog in the home) About the position: Parental leave coverage through January 2028 at approximately 70% Day and evening shifts from 7:00–15:00 or 15:00–21:00 Work every other weekend according to schedule Double assistance during certain work shifts Thorough introduction so you feel secure in the assignment We place great importance on personal suitability.
