Do you want to be part of our journey? We are looking for an engaged Parenting Advisor with a forward-thinking mindset for our Parent Support/Youth Support in Ängelholm. Parent Support/Youth Support offers meaningful and developmental work tasks, knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, and an opportunity to influence your work and workplace. The operations have been built up in recent years and serve parents with children/young people aged 0-18 and young people aged 12-18, with a team of 5 parenting advisors and 1 educator. The work group is part of the Support and Treatment Unit's Advice and Support team, which works with interventions without needs assessment, with collaboration taking place primarily with our family centers and family safety team. Within the Individual and Family operations area, development is constantly moving forward based on the new Social Services Act. The entire Individual and Family operations area is also in an intensive phase where we are implementing Signs of Safety as a working tool across all areas. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS To Parent Support/Youth Support, parents with children aged 0-18 or young people aged 12-18 can seek support through individual counseling, participate in parenting courses, or group activities. We also offer children as relatives individual counseling or group support. Part of our work is to collaborate with preschools and schools where we can, among other things, participate in consultation meetings with students, parents, and school staff. We are now looking for you who - are a social worker (socionom) with solid knowledge and experience in parenting support work - have experience collaborating with schools - can lead the way and are comfortable collaborating with other professionals - can give lectures "take a stand" and speak in front of large audiences QUALIFICATIONS To be suitable for this position, you must have a degree in social work and experience from similar work where you have developed an understanding of what is required to perform in this type of role.
