Are you a licensed midwife with experience in labor and delivery care and open to a new consulting assignment where your expertise will truly shine? We are now seeking an experienced midwife for labor and delivery operations in Jönköping. About the Assignment As a midwife in labor and delivery, you will provide safe and secure care throughout the entire labor process. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with physicians, nursing assistants, and other professionals. Your duties may include: Independent midwifery work in labor and delivery care Assessment and management during labor Monitoring of mother and baby CTG monitoring and clinical assessments Support and information for the laboring woman and family Medication management Documentation according to unit protocols Management of both routine and complex labor cases Close collaboration with obstetricians and other professionals For You With the Right Experience We are looking for you who: Are a licensed midwife Have current and relevant experience in labor and delivery care Are comfortable working independently on a labor and delivery unit Have good clinical judgment and can prioritize when situations change rapidly Are experienced with CTG and standard labor and delivery tasks Work systematically with a strong focus on patient safety Have a confident and professional approach Speak and write Swedish fluently Your Experience Will Be Valued Labor and delivery care requires both high clinical competence and the ability to create security during one of life's most significant moments.
