Do you want to work part-time in a job where your effort really makes a difference? We are now looking for a part-time personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives in his own cottage on his parents' property in Alingsås, surrounded by animals and nature.
A driver's license and access to a car are required because the residence is outside public transportation. Driving is part of the job.
About the assignment
The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in his daily life. On weekdays, he attends day activities from 09:00–15:00, and afterwards he enjoys participating in activities or cooking – a major interest.
Weekends are often quieter and are usually spent outdoors with walks or coffee breaks.
Who are we looking for?
You are reliable, responsible, and can work independently. We would like you to be active, organized, and enjoy planning and implementing activities.
Experience with autism and epilepsy is a merit but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you can create a sense of security, have a calm approach, can work with clear routines, and are well-structured.
We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to build a good relationship while contributing to a stable and meaningful everyday life.
About the position
Working hours vary, but weekday shifts are usually 15:15–08:55 or 15:15–21:15. Weekend shifts can be 09:00–15:00, 15:00–09:00, or 24-hour shifts.
The work primarily involves evening and night shifts with periods of waiting time. In the morning, the man uses a transport service to his day activities.
We appreciate your flexibility and willingness to work extra when needed.
