Do you want to work extra in a job where your contribution really makes a difference? We are now looking for an hourly personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives in his own cottage on his parents' farm in Alingsås, surrounded by animals and nature.
A driver's license and access to a car are required since the residence is outside public transportation. Car driving is part of the job.
About the assignment
The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in his daily life. On weekdays, he attends a day activity from 09:00–15:00, and afterward he enjoys participating in activities or cooking – a major interest.
Weekends are often quieter and are usually spent outdoors with walks or coffee.
Who are we looking for?
You are confident, responsible, and can work independently. We would like to see that you are active, organized, and enjoy planning and carrying out activities.
Experience with autism and epilepsy is a plus but not required. The most important thing is that you can create a sense of security, have a calm approach, can work with clear routines and structure.
We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to build a good relationship while contributing to a stable and meaningful daily life.
About the position
Working hours vary, but weekday shifts are usually 15:15–08:55 or 15:15–21:15. Weekend shifts can be 09:00–15:00, 15:00–09:00, or 24-hour shifts.
The work mainly involves evening and night shifts with some waiting time. In the morning, the man uses a transport service to get to his day activity.
We would like to see that you are flexible and can work extra when needed.
