RTU invites applications for a FINANCE SPECIALIST (profession code 3313 07) In the Financial Planning and Management Department, Budget and Financial Management Division. We are a team that ensures RTU's financial management quality and sustainable development, based on precise data, thoughtful planning, and collaboration with all university structural units. Your main responsibilities will be: participate in budget planning; ensure control of approved budget execution; review and approve transactions, as well as perform activities related to financial accounting and control in information systems; address regular and irregular issues in the budget and financial management area; participate in the development and updating of RTU internal regulatory documents; prepare financial reports, calculations, estimates, and participate in pricing processes; participate in the development, improvement, and testing of financial accounting and calculation systems; contribute to the improvement of financial information systems. You possess: appropriate higher education in finance, economics, management science, or accounting; excellent Excel and data analysis skills; excellent knowledge of Latvian and good English language skills for individual project implementation; ability to organize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously; good work organization and communication skills. The following will be considered an advantage: experience in budget administration or management accounting; experience in the financial field; experience in developing internal regulatory documents; experience working with SAP (ERP systems).
