The Ministry of Economics announces a competition for the position of Financial Specialist (employee position) at the Budget Execution Division of the Department of Strategic Planning and Resource Management Requirements for candidates: - Higher education in a relevant field or incomplete higher education; - Experience in finance, accounting, control of accounting, and work as a financial specialist/accountant in a budgetary institution for at least two years; - Experience working with the accounting system Horizon RVS for at least two years; - Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Teams; - Strong analytical and communication skills; - Excellent knowledge of the Latvian language. Main job responsibilities: - Management of requirements/liabilities and revenues, management of transaction partner/client data; - Management of supporting documents for long-term investments (intangible assets, fixed assets, financial investments), inventory, transfers, subsidies; - Management of the inventory process; - Management of international projects and various foreign financial assistance projects; - Participation in the preparation of budget, quarterly, and annual reports.
