What does the Financial Controller consulting role at Aspia involve? In your role as a consultant with us, you work in varying interim assignments with our clients, for example during temporary vacancies, recruitment processes, change projects, or system implementations. The assignments vary in length and complexity, and are matched based on your experience and expertise. You should enjoy change, be curious about new environments, and feel confident representing your expertise in client interviews. Assignments are primarily in the Gothenburg area, but can also occur in nearby locations depending on the assignment and your interest. Examples of work tasks with our clients: Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and financial reporting Analysis of results, costs, and key metrics Reporting and analysis to management and operations Group reporting and consolidation Budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring Development of processes, routines, and reporting structures We're looking for you who have: Academic education in economics or equivalent Several years of work experience in controlling Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis Experience working according to K3 regulations and preferably IFRS Very good system skills and strong Excel knowledge Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious: Experience in group accounting and consolidation Experience from larger companies or international groups Experience with SAP, Unit4, or other major business systems Previous experience from consulting or interim operations Experience in process development and change management Experience with AI tools in accounting, analysis, or reporting To thrive as a consultant, we believe you: Enjoy variety and change and have the ability to quickly adapt to new environments, ways of working, and systems.
