Job Responsibilities As a Property Technician, your primary responsibility is to perform work focused on the operation and maintenance of technical installations, as well as supervision and inspections. Project management of technical installations and energy optimization may also be included. In your role as Property Technician, you will have significant responsibility for following applicable procedures and regulations to maintain high standards, and as a colleague you will contribute to a good work environment where we together promote job satisfaction and health. We want to continuously develop and improve our municipality, so you will play an important role in actively participating in our ongoing development work. On-call service may be included in the position. About the Workplace The Municipal Development Administration holds combined responsibility for all property, urban environment, and water/sewage matters. This responsibility includes both operation and maintenance as well as implementation of investments resulting from the municipality's development activities. The Property Technician position is located at the Technology and Facilities unit, which is responsible for technical installations, municipal construction work, guest harbor, and workshop and storage. We are responsible for the municipality's general water and sewage lines. The department also manages stormwater drainage from streets, public areas, and properties in the municipality's built-up areas. The Property Operations group currently consists of seven employees, and we now need to strengthen our organization with a Property Technician. What We're Looking For in You To succeed in the role, you have: documented education in property technology or equivalent at least two years of experience working as an operations technician, property technician, or other relevant work in the property sector familiarity with working in IT systems very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written basic English language skills, both spoken and written B-class driver's license It is an advantage if you have: education in ventilation, electrical, plumbing, controls and automation, and similar areas previous experience working in an upper-level system background in project management, focused on property technical installations Personal Qualities We're Looking For To thrive and succeed in the role, you are service-oriented, structured, and able to work independently.
