At the turn of the year, the management of the municipality's properties transitions from the municipal company Båstadhem to Båstads kommun. In connection with this, a new management organization is being established with responsibility for the municipality's real estate portfolio. Now we're looking for you who want to be part of the team from the beginning as we establish the new property management organization together. As a property manager, you'll have a central role in the new administration with great opportunities to influence work methods, structure, and development. The role includes implementing the municipality's environmental and sustainability goals in long-term property management, and you'll be an important part of ensuring efficient, sustainable, and quality management of the municipality's properties. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a property manager, you're responsible for long-term maintenance planning, you drive reinvestment projects and energy optimization projects, you conduct property inspections, you handle insurance matters, and you work with continuous follow-up. You're part of the management's leadership team and actively contribute to the property management's strategic development. You also have an important role in developing the municipality's real estate portfolio and in ensuring that the municipality's facilities are suitable for the activities conducted there. The role also includes: • developing structures and work methods • ensuring good communication and collaboration within and outside the organization • identifying synergies and opportunities for efficiency improvements within the municipal group QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone with future vision and high ambitions. You thrive with creating structure, building relationships, and driving development, and are motivated by the opportunity to help shape a new organization. You have: • university education or other relevant education combined with professional experience in the property management field that the employer considers equivalent • experience as a manager within a property management organization or experience from an equivalent role • good understanding of efficient and long-term sustainable property management • B-class driver's license It's a merit if you have experience from a municipal organization or other publicly managed operations. You're a responsive, confident, and committed property manager who builds trust and helps people grow. You collaborate easily, build good relationships, and are clear in your communication. You're creative and solution-oriented and see opportunities where others see challenges. You work proactively and take initiative, and you dare to make decisions and drive change. At the same time, you're quality-conscious and have the ability to combine a strategic perspective with an understanding of daily management. Employment type: Permanent position.
