Job Duties As a foster care secretary within Jourhem, you will work with a high degree of independence within the framework of applicable legislation, guidelines, and practices. At the same time, you will always have close access to your manager, senior social secretary, and colleagues for professional support in your work. Your main tasks are to recruit, investigate, and supervise foster homes, as well as work with individuals and cooperating partners in acute situations or in longer-term processes. You will work in close collaboration with both colleagues in your own team and with other internal colleagues and external cooperating partners. In your work, you will also actively collaborate with internal and external actors regarding developing and conducting professional social work. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and a genuine interest in working with children and families. The position requires previous experience in social work, and we would prefer that you have several years of experience in social work after your degree, previous experience working with children and young people, and preferably investigation work and authority exercises under SoL and LVU. Experience in foster care and experience providing supervision or completed supervisor training are merits. If you also possess knowledge of or experience with BBIC, MI, or Lifecare, it will facilitate your work. Training in the Kälvesten method or experience working with Signs of Safety is a merit. In your work, you are relationship-building and you enjoy collaboration both within your own work group and with other units internally, as well as external cooperation with other organizations and authorities. In your work, you will meet people with different experiences and backgrounds; it is therefore important that you are responsive and can listen to the person you meet to create good contact. It is of great importance that you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You see relationships in their proper perspective and have a good ability to distinguish between the personal and professional. In the role of foster care secretary, it is also important that you are flexible in your work and can easily adapt to changed circumstances and adjust your working methods according to the organization's needs and goals. At the same time, you have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work in an efficient manner. Since the work involves extensive communication and documentation, it is a requirement that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
