About the Position We are seeking a Family Home Consultant who wants to become part of our growing team in Västernorrland and Gävleborg. You will work together with Family Home Consultants, Family Home Investigators, Placement Coordinators, and the Unit Manager in an operation characterized by commitment, quality, and collaboration. The role involves significant personal responsibility, but you will also have support from experienced colleagues and an organization that values reasonable workload and high-quality work. Your Main Responsibilities Guidance and support for family homes in their assignments. Recruit, investigate, and train family homes. Participate in matching work between family homes and placement requests. Collaborate, document, and report to the client both in writing and orally. Plan and implement training and recruitment initiatives for family homes. The position involves regular travel, which means a driver's license (Category B) is required. Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking you who are educated as a social worker or have equivalent academic qualifications. To succeed in the role, we believe you: Have genuine commitment to children, youth, and families. Are secure, responsible, and experienced in working independently. Have good collaboration skills and contribute to positive team spirit. Are communicative and find it easy to build trusting relationships. Have good administrative skills and express yourself well both verbally and in writing. Previous experience with family foster care, social work, or public administration is a merit.
