We work closely with social services and place the child's security at the center. We are a growing organization with short decision-making paths and a management that is close and present, even when you are located farther from our headquarters in Gothenburg. About the Role As a family home consultant in the Linköping region, you are our face locally. You are responsible for a number of family homes and are their most important professional support in daily life: from recruitment and matching to ongoing supervision and follow-up. You work from your home and plan much of your own workday with home visits and meetings as a natural part of daily life. Your introduction and training initially takes place at our office in Gothenburg and you return there regularly for team meetings and check-ins. About the Work Area: Your base is Linköping but assignments regularly occur in neighboring counties as well. When recruiting new family homes, occasional travel within the entire region may occur. You will, among other things: Supervise and support family homes in their assignments, even in complex situations Conduct home visits and follow up on ongoing placements Collaborate with social services, schools, and other stakeholders around the child Document and report ongoing to clients and to the team in Gothenburg Recruit, investigate, and match emergency and family homes in the region Participate in on-call duties according to a rotating schedule We are Looking for You You have a degree in social work or equivalent higher education degree in social work, with experience in social work and preferably with children and young people. You are a secure and solution-oriented person who navigates confidently in complex relationships between family homes, children, biological networks, and social services. Since you work independently most of the time, it is important that you are self-directed, structured, and comfortable with personal responsibility, while also valuing and actively seeking contact with the team. You also have: Good knowledge of current legislation, particularly the Social Services Act (SoL) and Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act (LVU) Ability to maintain focus and structure even when the pace is high, without daily office presence A warm and professional manner when meeting with family homes and children B-class driver's license and own car – the position involves regular home visits and travel in the region (compensation according to applicable rates) Residing in the Linköping area and surrounding region Meritorious Experience with family home care, investigations, or supervision of family homes Training in BBIC, MI, Signs of Safety, or A Home to Grow In Training in investigation methods for family homes, for example Kälvesten Supervisor training for family homes Previous experience working from home/remotely in a similar role We Offer A role where you make a real difference for children and young people every day Great freedom to plan your own workday Regular visits to our office in Gothenburg for team meetings and check-ins Regular supervision and individual professional development plan Wellness allowance and occupational pension A dedicated team with high expertise, even though the distance sometimes is greater Interviews are held continuously, initially digitally.
