Join Our Team About the Role As a Facilities and Security Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-functioning operation. You are responsible for property, security, technical operations, procurement, and service functions, with a focus on creating the best possible conditions for daily operations and future development. The role is part of the site's management team and involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You work closely with operations while driving improvement initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the operation's property-related work and ensuring planned and corrective maintenance through external contractors Monitor landlords, suppliers, and service agreements related to property, technical installations, and facility management Manage budget, forecasts, and cost tracking within property, security, and service areas Serve as SBA (fire safety) coordinator and ensure compliance with security procedures, regulatory requirements, and agreements with security providers Drive improvement efforts in physical security, occupational environment, and business-supporting service functions Hold operational responsibility for the operation's IT delivery in close collaboration with local specialists and central support functions Responsible for procurement of the operation's consumable materials and ensuring cost-effective supplier solutions Participate in projects related to renovations, investments, digitalization, and future expansions Lead and develop employees and ensure proper prioritization of resources and work tasks About You We are looking for a confident and business-minded leader with the ability to combine a strategic perspective with operational presence. You are: Business-minded and cost-conscious with a good understanding of how operations, quality, and economics work together Structured and analytical with the ability to prioritize and make well-founded decisions Results-oriented with a strong drive to implement improvements and create long-term results Clear in your leadership and experienced at motivating, coaching, and developing employees Communicative and skilled at building relationships with both internal and external partners Flexible and comfortable working in a high-pace operation with constant change To succeed in the role, you must have the following qualifications: Several years of experience from property management, facility management, logistics, warehouse, or industrial operations Experience leading employees and managing external suppliers and contractors Strong experience with budget, forecast, and cost responsibility Experience with contract management, supplier management, and negotiations Experience with security work and systematic fire safety management (SBA) Good understanding of IT infrastructure and mission-critical IT environments Experience with procurement, purchasing, and supplier collaboration Experience with project management, change management, and continuous improvement work, preferably using LEAN Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and experience.
