Want to get your foot in the door of the working world, earn your own money, and become part of a fun team? Then Corner might be the right place for you.
We're now looking for several young people from age 15 who want to start working part-time with us this fall. You don't need to have had a job before. What matters most is that you're curious, responsible, and willing to learn.
A First Job to Grow With
At Corner, you'll learn things that will be valuable to you long after your first shift. You'll practice collaborating, meeting customers, taking responsibility, and solving tasks together with others – even when things get busy.
Many have started their working life with us and continued throughout their school years. For several, their coworkers have become close friends and the experience from Corner has been a valuable credential for future jobs and education.
The job also gives you the opportunity to earn your own money for things you want to do, buy, or save for.
A Path to Next Summer
Starting to work part-time in the fall is a great way to get to know the job and join the team. For the right person, it can also lead to more shifts in the future and the possibility of summer work next year.
About Corner
Corner Burgers & Grill has existed since 1979 and is one of Sweden's oldest privately-owned burger restaurants.
With us, you work together at a fast pace with cooking, orders, customers, drive-in service, and digital orders. No two workdays are quite alike, and everyone on the team is needed to create a great experience for our guests.
You'll receive an introduction and learn the job step by step. Tasks and work hours are adapted to your age and experience.
Who Are We Looking For?
We believe you
are at least 15 years old,
want to learn new things and develop,
are positive and enjoy meeting people,
take responsibility and keep to schedules,
enjoy collaborating and helping others, and
can understand and communicate clearly in Swedish.
Previous experience is not required. For us, your attitude, your drive, and your willingness to be part of the team are what matter most.
The work is part-time as needed and suits you if you want to work during, for example, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school breaks. You need to live in Västervik or nearby and be able to get to and from work.
