Part-Time Job: Teach Elderly Patients How to Use a Tablet

CareLigo is a company dedicated to improving the quality of life for chronically ill elderly people by supporting them toward enhanced self-care. The company has developed OPTILOGG, a home-based medical device for heart failure patients. Do you enjoy meeting and helping people? Then this job is for you! OPTILOGG is currently in many homes of heart failure patients in Skåne, and we hope to reach more. CareLigo is therefore looking for someone who will visit our happy patients at home to teach them how to use OPTILOGG, which consists of a tablet and a bathroom scale. You will also handle simple support tasks, such as replacing batteries in the scale or restarting the tablet for them. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and are looking for someone who is pedagogical and has a strong service mindset. You have great patience and enjoy spending time with elderly people, as our patients are often seniors. We appreciate experience working with people. Excellent Swedish language skills are a requirement. The position involves considerable travel, primarily around Trelleborg, but also travel to other parts of Skåne may occur. The position therefore requires that you have a driver's license and access to your own car. This is a needs-based position. This means you assist us when patients receive our OPTILOGG device or when they need support help. The scope is 5-15 hours per month, but the scope may potentially expand in the future. Working hours are flexible, as you will always arrange the visit times directly with the patients. The job therefore works well to combine with studies or other work.
