Do you want a fun and meaningful job? A job where you work with people who may think differently from most, but who can enrich your day, and where you get the chance to make a difference in someone's everyday life. Our work is guided by our values of respect, commitment, responsibility, and a focus on residents' well-being. Our vision is to create quality of life based on each individual's needs. Our operation is located in the beautiful natural setting of Dänningelanda, approximately 1 mile south of Växjö. In Dänningelanda, we run several LSS (disability services) activities and we are looking for staff members who can work on an extra basis as needed. If you fit with our team, a permanent position may become available. We are looking for someone interested in working with individuals who have various disabilities—an engaged colleague who is experienced in providing motivating and low-arousal support. Our daily activities focus on learning, creativity, and health—so we would love if you have a passion for creative work and enjoy planning and implementing activities for adults with disabilities under LSS categories 1 and 2. In our daily activities, we work as a team and collaborate daily with other operations in Dänningelanda. We therefore expect you to work well in a team, take your own initiative, and have strong collaborative abilities. Employment We offer wellness benefits. Start date: September 2026. We apply individual salary setting. We have a collective bargaining agreement with Kommunal. Your Role You will be responsible for providing individually tailored support to participants during their time in daily activities, working together with your colleagues. You always base your work on each resident's individual needs and their right to self-determination. A significant part of the work involves contributing to each individual's independence and well-being based on their capabilities. You should be proactive and enjoy planning and taking initiative with participants, adapting your communication so that residents feel understood and respected. The work includes administrative tasks such as social documentation, developing implementation plans, etc., which requires good computer skills. You should have a professional yet approachable, motivating, and reassuring approach toward the residents you care for. Our services involve daytime work. Qualifications You should be trained as a nursing assistant or have another equivalent education with a pedagogical/social focus, or other experience deemed equivalent. You should have good computer skills and experience with documentation. As a person, you are responsible, confident, engaged, and have a positive attitude. You must have a valid B-category driver's license. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious Training or work experience in low-arousal support, Studio 3, or previous work within LSS. Education or other background in art, music, creative work, crafts, or other cultural fields. We require a criminal background check. Knowledge of IBIC documentation is a plus.
