F 16 is responsible for Uppsala Garrison and the operation of Uppsala Airport. The squadron is also responsible for monitoring Swedish airspace around the clock, year-round, and leads the Air Force's fighter aircraft in the air. You will be part of a military organization undergoing significant change and development due to the international situation and Sweden's NATO membership. About the Unit 163. Garrison Battalion consists of the Logistics Company, Garrison Company, and Training Company, which together create the conditions for assigned units to focus on their main tasks. The battalion's role and tasks are developing rapidly to meet the new tasks and challenges facing Sweden and the Swedish Armed Forces. This position will be placed at the Garrison Company and the Staff Platoon. The battalion consists of all aspects of the military profession: officers, soldiers, and civilians. Together we develop the battalion to meet the tasks assigned to us. Main Responsibilities In your role as Expeditions Manager, you will work as a registrar with special responsibility for supervising other registrars and archivists at the platoon. You will plan, coordinate, and prioritize work within the expeditions service and archive service and report to the Chief of the Staff Platoon. In the role of Expeditions Manager, you will partly work with registering and distributing incoming and outgoing documents, and when needed, staff our internal reception desk where you provide support and service to Swedish Armed Forces case handlers on document management issues. You help ensure that our processes comply with applicable laws and regulations, and that sensitive information is handled correctly. Examples of work tasks: Lead work on developing routines and processes within the operational area Stay updated on applicable laws and regulations within the operational area, and follow up that work is performed safely Plan, coordinate, and prioritize work within the archive and expeditions service on a daily basis and longer term Support managers and employees on document and case handling issues Participate in projects and development work conducted within the platoon Work on crisis and war plans within the operational area This position entails that the employee is war-assigned to 16. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Current and relevant experience working as a registrar or archivist, or alternatively other experience that the employer deems equivalent Very good computer skills including knowledge of the Office package Good ability to work in a structured and thorough manner Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Driver's license category B Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is organized and takes responsibility.
