Role Description As an EU Controller at Vinnova, you will play a key role in ensuring correct and efficient accounting and reporting of the EU partnership programs. In this role, you will also have coordinating responsibility for the EU-funded research partnership RAMP (Raw Materials Partnership for the Green and Digital Transition), coordinated by Vinnova to ensure sustainable access to critical raw materials. You will work closely with project managers and other internal functions to monitor, report, and ensure quality in the financial accounting of our EU-funded initiatives. Your work will mainly consist of: Financial monitoring and reporting of EU projects according to current regulations. Ensuring that project accounting complies with both EU and state requirements. Collaborating with project managers, controllers, and external partners. Participating in audits and reviews from the EU Commission and national authorities. Developing and improving internal procedures related to EU project finances. Conducting training sessions and information meetings together with other colleagues in EU projects. Contributing to other financial tasks in the unit as needed. Qualification Requirements At least two years of post-secondary education in finance or accounting At least three years of experience with independent work in accounting and financial reporting, plus experience with externally funded projects. Work experience with budgeting and forecasting, as well as providing financial support to project managers and others in senior positions. Work experience in EU project finance within the past five years. Very good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Merit Qualifications Experience working with Unit4 ERP (Agresso). Work experience in public sector finance and accounting. Work experience with closing of accounts and annual financial statements.
