Pedagogical AT at Akademiska sjukhuset Pedagogical AT is conducted at Akademiska sjukhuset and in primary care throughout Uppsala County. The position also includes pedagogical work for three months. We are now announcing a pedagogical AT block for 21 months of service. We are looking for someone interested in working clinically at a university hospital and also gaining experience in primary care. We are looking for someone who wants to strengthen health and medical care's competence and awareness of pedagogy in clinical operations and work to promote a good educational culture long-term. The block includes: • internal medicine specialties 4.5 months • surgical specialties 4.5 months • psychiatry 3 months • general medicine 6 months • pedagogical work 3 months In the pedagogical block, you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of pedagogy and apply pedagogical tools. You work three months at the Clinical Training Center (KTC) where you, among other things, serve as an instructor in interprofessional simulation exercises, lead CPR courses, and lead seminars/workshops/lectures. Upon starting your service, a mentor for the pedagogical work will be appointed and an individual work plan will be created. You should have a physician's diploma upon entry. Merits Up to six months of clinical experience as a locum physician is a merit in this recruitment. Previous experience working in Region Uppsala is a merit. Other relevant experience working in health and medical care may also be meritorious. Experience and/or education in the pedagogical field is a merit, as are quality and improvement work and research in the pedagogical field. Your Competence As a person, you are thorough and well-organized. You are also flexible, have good collaboration skills and sound judgment. As we recruit for the future, we would like you to want to continue developing yourself within Region Uppsala after completing your AT. Your Application Should Contain • Physician's diploma, if you have completed your medical degree; otherwise, it should be submitted to the AT unit before an employment agreement can be issued • CV that describes your education and work experience • Three references • Motivation for pedagogical AT, where you describe yourself as a pedagogue, your experiences and/or education in the pedagogical field and what you want to achieve with your pedagogical efforts • Certificate from your employer regarding previous or ongoing pedagogical efforts • Certificate of any research with a pedagogical focus • Service certificate documenting your clinical experience. Other certificates may be accepted provided that the period (yy-mm-dd - yy-mm-dd) is shown and the certificate is signed • If you have a foreign physician's diploma, you must attach a decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare to complete general service, AT. A certificate of Swedish language proficiency equivalent to Swedish C1/Swedish as a second language 3 must also be attached Any job offer will be made after a combined assessment of merits, both clinical and pedagogical, and interviews.
