AFRY Project Management South consists of an engaged and positive team with many exciting assignments. The projects range from new construction to development of existing facilities. They can involve anything from extensive infrastructure projects, robust critical infrastructure, water and sewerage projects and facilities, to road and rail or classic civil engineering projects. Our customers are located in both the private and public sectors and our good collaboration across AFRY's different segments and disciplines generates a range of exciting projects. We have the privilege of working on several prestigious projects and often work on large critical infrastructure projects in areas such as Defense, High Security, Health and Infrastructure facilities. Although the role involves responsibility for your own projects, there is an engaged team to support you. As an experienced project manager in civil and construction engineering, you drive projects through their different phases. You are responsible for planning, ensuring and monitoring cost, time and quality. As an experienced project manager, you lead the design phase in large projects. Project Management South includes our offices in Malmö, Helsingborg, Kristianstad, Hässleholm, Hultsfred, Karlshamn and Oskarshamn and we are looking for you who want to work from one of these offices. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is experienced and established in project management and/or design management with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in civil and construction engineering. It is meritorious if you have experience from one or more of the following areas; Defense, High Security, Health and/or Infrastructure. You have a university degree or civil engineering degree with a focus on construction and engineering or equivalent education, alternatively equivalent work experience. You possess extensive knowledge in leading multidisciplinary assignments. If you have experience in inspections, concrete class I and II certification and/or certification as responsible controller, this is meritorious. You have good knowledge of building legislation and construction and consulting law (AB 04, ABT 06 and ABK 09). As a person you are positive and engaged with strong self-leadership and a developed sustainability mindset. An understanding of the digital business and the connection to BIM is self-evident to you. You are good at leading a group toward set goals. In your project teams, everyone knows what is expected and has good conditions to prioritize in line with the project's goals. You understand the importance of communication and coordination both within the group and with the customer and other stakeholders. AFRY's consultants are an important contact point with customers.
