On behalf of our client, Sibe Construction is seeking an experienced estimator in site and infrastructure work for a well-established and family-like construction company just south of Gothenburg.
About the Role
This is a broad, production-focused role where you will have a central and important function in the business. You will independently drive the bidding process from start to finish and work closely with production, management, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Preparing bids and estimates for site and infrastructure projects
Procurement and contracting of subcontractors and suppliers
Organizing and administering bid and quote workflows
Contract management and agreement matters
Participating in project planning and follow-up
Providing support to production on economic and technical matters
Projects range from smaller contracts to larger and more complex infrastructure projects, creating a varied and developmental workday.
We Are Looking For You If You
Have several years of experience with estimating work in site and infrastructure.
Have good knowledge of construction law, procurement law, and AMA, MER, and RA Anläggning standards.
Have experience from construction production and understand operations on job sites.
Are comfortable working in estimating software, such as BidCon.
Are proficient with the Office suite and have particularly strong Excel skills, as a large portion of estimating work and follow-up is done there.
Speak and write Swedish fluently.
It is a merit if you also have experience in accounting, contract management, and scheduling, as well as a technical education in building, site work, or infrastructure.
