Job Description Ölandsplast is growing and we are now seeking an experienced procurement manager with a background in polyethylene material production and quality testing. We are looking for a full-time procurement manager for our operations in Färjestaden on Öland. As a procurement manager with us, you will be a central part of our team and be responsible for optimizing our procurement processes, from supplier selection to quality control. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with different departments to ensure that we always have the right materials at the right quality and price. If you think you can keep pace, then you are the one we are looking for! Your Responsibilities: Responsible for purchasing raw materials and components for our plastic production. Negotiate prices, agreements, and delivery terms. Ensure and maintain a quality management system in accordance with ISO9001. Perform quality testing and documentation of polyethylene materials. Collaborate with the production and quality departments to optimize procurement strategies. Stay updated on market trends and new materials in plastic production. Planning of logistics and inventory management. Qualifications: We are looking for someone who has: Experience in procurement within the manufacturing industry, preferably in plastic production. Knowledge and experience in quality testing and materials control. Ability to negotiate and build strong supplier relationships. Structured work approach and strong analytical skills. Experience with business systems and Excel is a merit. Strong ability to build and maintain business relationships. Excellent communication skills in English.
