Vikenskolan is an F–9 school with just over 650 students located in a lovely environment in Viken. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as an experienced childcare worker with us, your main focus is to create a safe, inclusive, and predictable everyday life for our students. You are an important foundation stone in students' sense of security throughout the entire school day and after-school care time.
You meet students and guardians with a warm, trustful, and professional approach. You are skilled at seeing each individual child and building stable groups.
You work in close collaboration with other colleagues in the after-school team and classroom teachers to create continuity and safety throughout the student's day at school and in after-school care.
You actively participate in all aspects of after-school care, lead groups in safety-building activities, and support students in their social development and play.
QUALIFICATIONS
Approved upper secondary education from the Children and Recreation Program, or equivalent education.
Many years of experience working as a childcare worker in after-school care and school, and meeting students with NPF.
Ability to build strengthening relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues with a warm and clear hand.
A solution-focused approach, responsiveness to change, and the ability to contribute to an open and positive work environment.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
Employment type: Permanent employment.
Duration: Start date: 2027-01-07 or by agreement.
