INFECTIOUS DISEASE SURVEILLANCE AND IMMUNIZATION DEPARTMENT
EPIDEMIOLOGIST
(permanent position)
Requirements for candidates:
* higher academic or second-level professional higher education in medicine or public health;
* desirable practical work experience in healthcare or public health systems;
* desirable experience in epidemiological security, organization and coordination of health promotion, disease prevention and anti-epidemic measures;
* ability to collect and analyze statistical information, draw conclusions, prepare proposals, presentations and reports;
* good communication skills, high sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and in a team;
* good English language knowledge for cooperation with foreign partners;
* C1 level proficiency in the state language;
* good computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities:
* organize and coordinate monitoring of influenza, Covid-19 and other acute upper respiratory tract infections (AURI), ensure compilation of monitoring results;
* regularly prepare analytical reports;
* develop recommendations, suggestions and methodological materials;
* cooperate with foreign and international epidemiological surveillance institutions in the field of AURI infection epidemiological surveillance;
* participate in public health education work on infectious disease prevention issues;
* inform the public and other interested parties about the epidemiological situation in the country, including infection disease incidence rates, distribution trends and prevention measures.
