Friday is now recruiting on behalf of a client for a junior civil engineer who wants to develop within ground and infrastructure and help build the infrastructure of the future in the Nordic region! ABOUT THE ROLE Friday is recruiting on behalf of a client for a civil engineer in a growing business area within data center infrastructure. You will primarily work on-site in Denmark and be part of an international project team driving large-scale ground and infrastructure projects. The role has a strong focus on project documentation. You will, among other things, prepare and compile inspection reports, technical documentation and other materials required during the project. At the same time, you will regularly be on-site to develop a practical understanding of what is being built and ensure that the documentation reflects the work in production. Work is conducted in an international environment where working methods and processes may differ from traditional Swedish construction projects. The pace is high and decisions or priorities can change from one day to the next. The role is therefore suitable for you if you are flexible, solution-oriented and comfortable adapting to the project's needs. With the client, you will encounter an entrepreneurial culture with short decision-making paths, significant personal responsibility and a strong sense of community. You are expected to bring some industry experience, but do not need to be fully trained. Here you will have the opportunity to continue developing and gradually take on greater responsibility in projects. Examples of work tasks: Prepare and compile project documentation Create inspection reports, reports and technical documentation Ensure that documentation is complete and up to date Follow the work on-site to understand the project's different phases Support project management on technical and administrative matters Coordinate information between production, project management and international clients Handle changed circumstances and new priorities during the project WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO Has relevant post-secondary education in, for example, civil engineering, roads and water, building technology or ground and infrastructure Has some work experience from ground or infrastructure projects Has experience with or a clear interest in technical documentation and project monitoring Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently Is mobile and has the ability to work on-site in Denmark according to a rotation schedule It is not necessary, but advantageous if you have: Worked as, for example, a civil engineer, project engineer, site engineer or site manager Experience from ground, foundation, water/sanitation, infrastructure or industrial projects Experience from data centers or other large, technically complex projects Worked in an international project environment To thrive in the role, we believe you are organized, responsible and communicative. You have a knack for bringing order to large amounts of information while enjoying being on-site and wanting to understand the practical work. You are proactive, willing to ask questions and can quickly adapt when the project's circumstances change.
