About the position We are now looking for a driven and engaged Construction Engineer to join Byggservice in Uppsala. Then this role could be perfect for you! As a Construction Engineer at Peab Byggservice, your role is incredibly important in taking our projects to the next level. At Peab Byggservice in Uppsala, we work with both larger and smaller renovation projects – ROT. We have a number of framework agreements and national customer agreements where the company operates nationwide. We also work with ongoing activities, such as maintenance and repair work. We often perform work with tenants remaining in place and in ongoing operations, which places high demands on our flexibility and customer service level. About the job As a Construction Engineer, you work closely with the Site Manager and you are an important link between the company and the client. You are responsible for planning on both smaller and larger scales, you prepare budgets and project plans for bids and are responsible for these. You handle procurement, are responsible for documentation and follow-up, and you drive and support the Site Manager in our projects, both technically and economically. Our construction engineers are involved throughout the entire project and have contact with our customers, partners, and those working in our production. We value our relationships and expect you to have a strong commitment to providing support and service. Who are you? You have a university degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, or you have acquired equivalent work experience by working in the industry for several years. Strong knowledge of project economics, contract administration, and construction production. Experience in managing your own budget and bid work. Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. A Class B driver's license is required for the position. The position involves you working independently on several different projects simultaneously. This requires your ability to work in a structured and goal-oriented manner and that you can prioritize and meet deadlines. The position also requires that you are good at collaborating and understand the value of good relationships both externally and internally.
