A home that is people's home Sala Municipality has six special housing facilities where different professionals work together to create safe and secure care and support. Here nursing assistants, care workers, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other experts meet around the same goal: that our residents can live a good life based on their own conditions. As a unit manager, you have a central role in creating the right conditions for both employees and residents. Welcome to Björkgården Björkgården is one of Sala Municipality's six special housing facilities and is located in a beautiful rural setting in Västerfärnebo. Here live 49 elderly people who together with our employees share their daily life in a comfortable and safe environment. Some of the apartments are specially adapted for people with cognitive decline, and the facility also has an integrated day activity program. Here there is, in other words, an operation with both breadth and opportunities – and a daily life where your leadership can make a concrete difference. Your assignment – to lead people, develop operations, and create the future As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, employees, work environment, quality, and finances. You will, among other things: lead, coach, and develop employees in daily operations and in their professional development build a culture characterized by trust, participation, responsibility, and good treatment ensure safe, secure, and person-centered care and support in accordance with laws and guidelines drive quality and improvement work that develops the operation together with your management colleagues develop and lead our special housing facilities create good collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, loved ones, and other partners actively contribute to the operations area's management group and help shape our continued development.
