As a unit manager at Kungsgården Care and Residential Home, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the daily lives of elderly people while leading and developing an engaged operation with high competence. Here you will work closely with both employees, residents, and family members in an operation where the person is always at the center. Job Description Kungsgården is a care and residential home with 32 apartments where we work to create security, quality of life, and a meaningful daily life for our residents. We have nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists working together in team-based care and support to provide good and coherent care and services. As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, quality, and finances with personnel responsibility for 28 employees. You lead, develop, and follow up on operations based on applicable legislation, goals, and guidelines, and work both operatively and strategically. The role involves close and present leadership in daily operations, while you also drive long-term work on operational development, quality, and goal achievement. You are responsible for work environment, budget, recruitment, and competence supply, as well as ensuring that our residents receive high-quality services with a focus on participation, security, and a person-centered approach. You work closely with employees, residents, and family members and drive the operation forward together with an engaged work team. You report directly to the department manager and participate together with your management colleagues in the elderly care management group. We are Looking for You You have relevant higher education for the position. You have documented experience in management positions with personnel, work environment, and budget responsibility within elderly care. You have experience from care and support operations in municipal services. You have knowledge of dementia diseases. You have knowledge of health and medical care. You have good skills in Swedish in speech and writing. You have good digital competence and experience working in operational systems. We are looking for someone who is a confident and present leader with the ability to create engagement, participation, and good collaborations. You are organized, responsible, and have a knack for building trusting relationships with employees, residents, and family members. Furthermore, you are development-oriented, clear in your communication, and driven to create an operation with high quality where both people and operations develop.
