We are implementing an organizational change where we are dividing the HR department into two units: one unit for operations-focused HR support and one unit for competency supply. The purpose is to create a cohesive strategic HR delivery with a broader mandate. Now we are seeking a unit manager who wants to be part of shaping the future of competency supply and recruitment at Kronofogden. About the job The new unit will consist of recruitment partners who work with recruitment throughout the entire process, with all of Sweden as their work area. The unit is responsible for recruitment support across the entire agency and within various departments and operational areas. Each work group/team will work cross-functionally with the business's needs in focus. As unit manager for competency supply, you are responsible for: leading and developing the unit toward increased strategic depth, knowledge, and clear operational focus ensuring a cohesive, uniform, and equitable recruitment process and its continuous development ensuring that expertise and working methods meet future needs and create efficient workflows and continuous learning planning, leading, and monitoring the unit's delivery and contributing to the HR department's shared mandate, goals, and direction You have personnel responsibility for the unit's employees, participate in the HR department's management group, and report to the HR Director, who is based in Sundbyberg. As unit manager, you have operational, personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility for your unit. You translate overarching goals and strategies into clear assignments. As a member of the department's management group, you take responsibility for leading and developing the department together with your management colleagues. You collaborate within and outside the agency to achieve results and create value for our customers. You are expected to exercise close leadership even when you and your employees work in different locations. As unit manager, you are based in Stockholm or alternatively in Gothenburg, Malmö, or Östersund. Everyone working at Kronofogden contributes to the effort against crime. In employees' work tasks is included identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities about suspected crimes. About you As a manager at Kronofogden, you are expected to meet our leadership criteria and our employee policy. You exercise close leadership that creates conditions for active employee engagement. You have the ability to lead through change and develop the business through continuous improvements. Your analytical ability means you can handle a high degree of complexity in your work and that you have the ability to understand how different parts of the business affect each other. You think strategically and act decisively, even when choices are unclear. You communicate in a way that creates participation and engagement, and you have a high ability to collaborate and promote a good work environment. Being a manager and leader means both that you challenge and that you yourself can be challenged regarding mindset and working methods. Your qualifications: academic education primarily in HR, of at least 180 hp (120p) multiple years of current and relevant management experience in the HR field current experience in the recruitment area and personnel selection within the public sector and developing processes and working methods within the stated area It is desirable that you have completed management and leadership training. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an investigator and receive a management assignment for five years. If you are already employed at Kronofogden, you remain in your basic position during the assignment period. Travel is part of the job. Kronofogden offers the opportunity to work remotely by agreement with the employer. Working in the state means you follow the state value base. Special requirements are also placed on judgment, security thinking, and compliance with applicable laws.
